Toto

I first saw Toto at the California Music Festival in 1979. I was 17 years old. They played their first album song by song, start to finish. Kind of a ‘here’s our new album, go and buy it’ feel. I recall how tight a band of ‘professional musicians’ was compared to the other acts that weekend. These guys were obviously going to be big!

I was able to see Luke a couple of years back at an Ernie Ball All Star Jam at The Coach House. This guy is so great on guitar, he starts to play and the audience falls silent to catch every note and nuance. Amazing!

I plan to catch them on Tour this year. 2006

Track 3 on their new album Falling in Between is indeed a popular one.
“Bottom of your Soul” Lyrics are here
This is my personal interpretation of the music.

Go buy their album! It’s awesome!
